Mountain Sports
Imst Gurgltal is centrally located between the region of Landeck, the Ötztal and the Innsbruck region.

This creates a mountain sports area of great size.

Rosengartenschlucht en blue grotto

After a short walk from Imst, you will find one of the most valuable habitats of Tyrol, the Rosengartenschlucht. Over a length of 1.5 kilometers the Schinderbach of the Blue Grotto digs through the mountains to the Johanneschurch.

The most exciting part of the Blue Grotte is the story of its creation: 2000 years before the Romans were here, habitants of the region worked diligently searching for silver ores.

The most intense experience in the wild and romantic ravine and Blue Grotte is a botanical guided tour, every Monday from May to October from 14.00 – 17.00 (free for guests of the region Imst-Gurgltal).
