The Pitztal in the summer is a perfect location for many types of Climbing, numerous hikingtours, biking and various mountainbikeroutes, paragliding, rafting, canyoning. All these mountain sports are offered in abundance.
Unique is the opportunity to bungeejump in the Pitzenklamm.
And the hiking paradise on the Hochzeiger, which is also very family friendly, offers ample opportunities for enjoying in the mountains.
Also unique is the Gletscherpark-Card, whith what you can also throughout the region, so also in Imst and the Kaunertal, make use of all cable cars, the glacier street and also free entrance for several attractions.
Water Sports
Besides the many opportunities in and around wild streams for rafting or canoeing, you’ll find in Stillebach the Pitztaler Wasserwelten. This water fun-park shows and learns the power of water, in which it is allowed to use your hands and feet.

The Pitztal (both summer and winter) has a special program for children.
Specific to different ages. Pitzi Kidsclub will entertain the children.
Natuurpark Kaunergrat
In the Ice Age landscaped nature park Kaunergrat a variety of natural and cultural landscapes are shown.
The park includes all heights of the Alps.
In the informationcenter the exhibition ‘3000 m verticaal’ is shown. Entrance with TirolWest Card free.
Events Pitztal
In the Pitz Valley and the various villages, many events are organized both during the summer and during the winter.
Many music events and concerts featuring local artists, and regularly larger sporting events.
Examples thereof include the Gletschermarathon, usually in early July.
