Perhaps one of the most suitable regions for Mountain Sports in Austria. All Mountain Sports can be practiced here. And of course the opportunities for hiking, cycling and mountain biking in this region are simply enormous.

Water Sports
For water sports there are great opportunities within the region, including various outdoor and indoor pools, opportunities to enjoy while fishing, but also opportunities for surfing and sailing like on the reservoir in Krimml. Rafting is possible in the Salzach.

Recommendation
Nature Spectacle Kitzlochklamm. In thousands of years, the melting ice of the Ice Ag , the rainwater and debris from the Raurische Ache made a way through the rocks and created this gorge.
