Vals is one of the largest municipalities in Graubünden, and is located in a side valley of the Bündner Oberland. A village that is surrounded by beautiful meadows and forests, pure nature in the Swiss mountains.
Mountain Sports
The Vals Valley has a large network of hiking trails and trails for cyclists and mountain bikers. Mountain Climbers can climb over rocks, snow and ice.
Water Sports
The Therme, in a building designed by architect Peter Sumthor, stands on the site where the only thermal spring in Graubünden springs out of the ground.
Recommendation
The village is stopping place at the "GrossenWalserwegs"; that runs from Zermatt through the Alps to the Kleinwalsertal in Vorarlberg.
