Cosiness and atmosphere
Cosiness in small French villages.
The skiing villages in this part of France are also smaller, than you might be used.
This makes it more of a ski region, for connoisseurs. No crowded slopes, clear and thus ideally suited for families with children.
Also, the skiing villages smaller scale, are more cozy, at least if you're not looking for skiing villages that have a lot to offer.
Other Winter Sports
Good facilities but fewer opportunities.
Skiing and snowboarding, but because of the smaller size and because there are less tourists in the winter months that travel to these ski resorts, there is also less possible.
The slopes are good, if you like skiing or snowboarding, but there it actually stops. For example, there's no snow or fun parks in this region and few opportunities for other winter sports.
