Ski resort Axamer Lizum already surprises on the journey to the Ski Resort.
It is only ± 25 kilometer of Innsbruck from the north and is easily reached through the A12.
From the motorway exit Innsbruck-Süd, you have just a few miles ahead, to come to the ski resort.
Furthermore you can easily reach the Ski Resort in 45 minutes from Innsbruck by bus.
Near the Axamer Lizum, once you arrive, is a very friendly designated parking, and a few meters from the parking lot is the cash register and the ski resort.
Due to the high altitude of more than 1560 meters and possible artificial snow on 75% of the slopes, you can already ski the first laps in the snow mid-November.
A particular highlight is the Standseilbahn (Olympia Bahn), which allows a very fast and comfortable trip to the top of the mountain.
Moreover, there are 2 four-seat chair lifts, 4 two-seat chair lifts and 3 drag lifts available. All lifts reaching a total of 12,042 persons per hour capacity.
Because of the good location right by the highway, the Ski Resort is also a secret tip for day trippers from elsewhere in Tyrol who want to ski one day here.
In any case, both beginners and advanced skiers are well catered for.

Snowboarders have a large fun park available. And families with children, who already know the basics of skiing, are very pleased with this ski resort.
With a perfect maintenance of the slopes and possible artificial snow on 75% of the slopes, you'll find perfect conditions already at the beginning of the winter season.
