The lovely village of Ellmau is located in the large ski resort SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental and the village also provides the perfect opportunities for skiers and snowboarders, cafes and bars for apres ski. Recommended is the very nice Memory Pub.
It is a true winter sports destination, and fully designed for the tourists who come here for the winter sports. Excellent facilities, good hotels and apartments, and plenty of opportunities for other sports and for going out.
Characteristic is the traditional Tyrolean atmosphere, which despite the growth of the ski resort, has been preserved. Plenty of atmosphere and coziness!
In the village there are practice lifts and practice fields for children and beginners, while there are several ski schools. The ski resort offers slopes for all levels.
Around Ellmau are several winter hiking trails, an illuminated toboggan run, and the indoor Kaiserbad with a heated outdoor pool and a 92 meter water slide. Moreover, the village has several saunas and a very nice Beauty Centre.
Ellmau Skiwelt offers a combination of perfect slopes and other activities.
