Ski resort Panoramabahn Kitzbüheler Alpen includes 170 kilometer slopes, 51 lifts and 3 conveyor belts.
99 kilometer can be artificially snowed in, and that's almost 60% of the total slope length.
It is also "the start" of the Kitzbüheler Ski Resort, a large Ski Resort across the borders between Salzburg - Tyrol.
The ski resort is the proof that you do not necessarily need to go to Tyrol, to ski properly.
Besides skiing, the region has over 200 kilometer cross-country trails, including lighted trails, and 80 kilometer winter hiking trails (and various other winter sports).
Innovations
Quality Snowpark and expansions of snowguns.
The new Qpark (Quality Snow Park) on the Resterhöhe is located right at the Hangalmlift. Snowboarders and Free Skiers can reach the area of the park from the entry and exit of the gondola.
On and around the Jochberg and the Resterhöhe the last "hole" in the artificial snow is now closed, so that the famous ski safari now can be completely artificially snowed in (100%).
