Alpbach is often called the prettiest village in Austria, situated on a sunny plateau in the Alpbachtal.

It is not only a perfect winter destination. The region also has much to offer in the summer as natural beauty and great culture.

The region is also known for the traditional Alpbacher architecture.

Mountain Sports
Around Alpbach is a beautiful area, that is ideally suited for hiking and mountain biking.

Also snowshoeing is possible in the winter.

Water Sports
The Alpbacher Erlebnis Hallenbad is a wonderful swimming pool where you can enjoy.

It offers two 25 meters sports pools, big25 meters long water slide , island with waterfall, massage bench and childrens pool.

There is also a sauna with steam bath.

The Museum Tiroler Bauernhöfen.
The biggest outdoor museum in the Tyrol, with a hint of nostalgia.

Old farmhouses have been restored in its original condition. Also recommended is the Mühle Alpbach.

Every two weeks from mid June to mid-October on Saturday the flour is milled in this old mill.
