Welcome to Aurach
The romantic village Aurach is located 3 kilometer south of Kitzbühel, and offers a true village character between the Kitzbühel Alps. Many hundreds of years old farms feature the village, and its central location between Kitzbühel and Jochberg makes a lot possible in the summer months.

Mountain Sports
More than 500 kilometer hiking, mountain bike routes and trails, and trails for Nordic Walking. In this region you will certainly know no dull moment in mountaineering. And yet you can do even more here. Canyoning, parachuting, paragliding, indoor climbing wall at the Salewa Kletterkitz and ballooning. And there is much more.

Water Sports
Numerous opportunities for water sports are offered in the region. The Schwarzsee, where you can swim or rent an electric boat, is one of the most beautiful bathing lakes in Tyrol. Other possibilities are the Gieringer Weihe, Forestpool Jochberg (with slide, volleyball and table tennis) and the swimming centre Aquarena with opportunities for swimming next to a solarium.

Recommendation
At over 1000 meters altitude lies in a beautiful mountain landscape the wildlife park. This natural oasis offers not only native animals, but also animals like yak, lamas, monkeys, kangaroos, wild pigs, pot-bellied pigs and many other species. In the wildlife park the animals can walk around freely. Especially in the spring, when many young animals are running around, definitely worth a visit.
