Mountain Sports
A region which allows unique mountaineering. Whatever you do, and where you are, the lake is always in the background. An interplay between water and mountains, and a large number of possible mountain sports. Hiking and biking trails abound, paragliding and a private flight school.

Water Sports
Watersports is big here. Anything is possible on the lake, both actively and passively, because the cruise boats on the lake enjoy worldwide fame. The lake offers some great opportunities to enjoy swimming and for sailing along the lake.

Recommendation
One of the most popular excursions in the region is the Achenseebahn. One of the most famous steam trains of Austria and the world. The railway runs to Jenbach in the Inn Valley. Departure eg. in Pertisau. It is a definitely recommended historic train ride, which certainly will give you a lot of fun.
