Pertisau am Achensee offers its guests, alongside a wide range of sports and leisure, the experience to enjoy life in an untouched nature and pure air. Mountain Sports
The village offers hikers and mountain bikers extensive capabilities. Short or long walks, mountain hikes and challenging and beautiful mountain bike trails provide an active holidays, between the beautiful mountains. Other mountain sports are offered at the Achensee, such as rafting and paragliding. For cyclists the region has a number of beautiful routes.

Water Sports
The beachpool offers 5000 sqm sunbathing area, with a children's playground with pirate ship, swings, slide, sandbox and a diving board. For fishermen, the Achensee also is an ideal site, however keep the local rules in mind. Other water sports such as sailing and surfing are also offered at the lake.

Recommendation
A glass mountain, right in Pertisau am Achensee, let guests dive into the world of the Tyrolean stone oil tradition. The black gold has been used since 1902 by the Albrecht family, in the Bärental won, and is considered a natural wonder for people with certain health problems. In the glass mountain the story is told of the healing oil, and you can see how the oil is extracted from stone.
