The Thierseetal is a paradise for the whole family. Located in the valley between gentle hills and mighty mountains, lies Vorderthiersee, the small village famous for its Passion Spiele. On a large plateau lies the enchanting village Hinterthiersee, and almost to the border with Bavaria lies the still original village Landl. A valley of contrasts, which is perfect for a quiet summer holiday.

Mountain Sports
A region that has many mountain sports to offer, alongside an extensive network of hiking trails, bike paths and mountainbike routes and trails. For those who like mountain climbing and hiking in the mountains, a very suitable region. For gliders and Nordic walking there are excellent opportunities.

Water Sports
Swimming lake Thiersee. One of the cleanest bathing lakes throughout Austria, with a temperature of up to 24° and also one of the warmest lakes. A wide range of activities, with a dolphin boat, beach volleyball, table tennis and aqua-jump.

Recommendation
Wildpark Wildbichl. A special trip for the whole family is the Wildbichl Wildlife Reserve, which is open all year. "Animal and Nature" is the theme of this game park, where you can see various native animals in their natural and unspoiled environment.
