The German Eifel is a beautiful destination.
The German Eifel, is an area where snow falls regularly. Although not as snow sure as the larger winter sports areas, but this area is especially popular for winter hiking and cross country skiing.
The region has two ski resorts which only open if enough snow has fallen.
