Valais, is perhaps the winter sports region in Switzerland, with the most beautiful ski resorts, where almost all ski resorts are higher than 1,500 meters, and so are enormously snow sure.

The ski region is bordering France and Italy, and is located in the southwest of Switzerland, between the glaciers and Lake Geneva.

Characteristic of Valais, the large number of sunny days. 300 days a year. Which does not mean that there are no snow falls.

That is exactly the opposite. Through the southwestern location, you're pretty sure to have a lot of snow.

The high altitude, with 47 peaks higher than 4,000 meters, also ensures that you can in the summer, go skiing on one of the many glacier ski resorts.
