Vacation in Breitenwang
Breitenwang - The gateway to Tyrol.
Breitenwang is located on the edge of the Alps, the gateway to Tyrol.
A free space on the land, with its four villages Lähn, Ammerwald, Mühl and Neumühl, although it seems merged to Reutte.
A wonderful vacation awaits you here between rugged mountains and real nature.
The village has an illustrious history, when the German Roman Emperor Lothar II was passing, and died here, at a farm, where still a memorial stone stands.
Mountain Sports
Of course you can go hiking in the mountains around Breitenwang and mountain biking on well marked trails. However, the village also has an asphalt curling rink.
Water Sports
The Plansee is about 1,000 meters above sea level and is up to 75 meters deep. A special opportunity for anyone who wants to enjoy the water active, with opportunities for swimming, sailing, surfing, boating, fishing and diving.
Dekanatskirche zum Hl. Peter & Paul.
Worth seeing are the four chapels Koloman-Kapelle, Nothelferkapelle, Kapelle zum Hl. Antony and the Frauenbrünnl Kapelle, The Kaiserbrunnen and Dekanatskirche zum Hl. Peter & Paul.
