Brixen im Thale is the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps and the Brixental. Unlike most other valleys in Tyrol, the Brixental is open at both ends. the Brixental connects the Inn Valley with the region Kitzbühel. The beautiful grass mountains lie romantic between the rock walls of the Wilder Kaiser and the Hohe Tauern. The region is a perfect area for hiking.

Mountain Sports
The striking Kitzbüheler Horn (1196 meters) dominates the beautiful mountain scenery. Therefore, a region that offers mountaineering in abundance. Numerous hiking trails, mountainbike routes and trails, rock-climbing, paragliding, archery, extensive opportunities for riding, and the Quantya Motocross Park in Kirchberg.

Water Sports
Water and fun is offered in the swimminglake with Kneipp Installation, Beach Volleyball court, playground and the adventure swimming pool, giant slide, massage, sports and swimming pool and a children's pool with several areas for playing, and much more.

Recommendation
Zauberhafte Filzalmsee. Easy to adventure with the gondola Hochbrixen. After ± 5 minutes walk from the mountain station you get to the Filzalmsee with various options for hiking. There are several exhibitions, wetlands, and a sand playground, a water playground, and much more.
