Welcome to Fendels im Kaunertal
Fendels is located at 1356 meters altitude and offers superb views of the Tyrolean Oberland. The village is an ideal summer base for hiking, for example to the Fendler Alm or the Anton-Renk-Hütte with the breathtaking falling stream.

Mountain Sports
A region that is eminently suitable for various types of mountaineering, including the numerous hiking and mountain bike trails. Other sports such as rafting, paragliding and canyoning are offered around the village or in the region.

Water Sports
The Tiroler Oberland offers several opportunities for swimming. For example in Prutz or the swimlake in Ried im Oberinntal. Rafting is offered in Nauders and Ried im Oberinntal, and is a true spectacle.

Recommendation
An hour walk from the village you will find the ruins of the Wiesele. In 1789 the former pilgrimage church has been closed. Parts of the church were spread over the region, such as the altars which stands in Feichten.
