Many sports and a lot of charm in Galtür.
A holiday in Galtür is a holiday with many mountains, many sports and lots of charm. The village is perhaps different from the 'normal' holiday villages. Something quieter, something mysterious.

Thanks to the high altitude and the unique view of the glaciers, the village is a special jewel in the Paznauntal. It lies at the end of a high valley, and was in 1997, the first Tyrolean village, appointed air spa.

Mountain Sports
If you want to enjoy some mountain sports during your holiday, you are in th right spot. In the village or in the Paznauntal most mountain sports are offered. In the field of hiking and mountain biking the opportunities are enormous.

Galtür also boasts the largest climbing park in Europe, a challenge for anyone who likes to stick to the rocks.

Especially the Silvapark offers ample opportunities for climbers, and is suitable for beginners, kids and advanced climbers.

The mountains in the region also offer various climbing routes, and especially the moderate to difficult Urgestein-climbing route, offers fantastic views.

Water Sports
Rafting is eg. offered in Pians. In the indoor pool you can enjoy everything what a swimming pool can offer, like the water clock, a waterfall, massage showers, water slides (including a 45 meters slide), water fountains, the playrhino Bubu, and everything that makes a day swimming a great success.

A playground for the little ones.
In the local fun park you can enjoy many sports. It starts with a playground, but it certainly does not end there. The park offers o, a, Roller skating, Cycling, Street Soccer, volleyball up to the highest grass football pitch. Also recommended is the Alpinarium.
