The holiday village Kauns is located at the beginning of the Kaunertal and is an ideal village to relax during your well deserved holiday. Here you can experience how quiet the Tiroler Oberland is, and after a holiday here, you know how the landscape helped you to relax.

Mountain Sports
A region that is eminently suitable for various types of mountaineering. Several mountain sports are offered in the village or nearby, and it is an area where you actually can walk boundless.

Water Sports
In the region surrounding the village there are several possibilities for swimming, for instance in the pool in Prutz, which is close. Rafting is offered in Nauders and Ried im Oberinntal, and is a true spectacle.

Recommendation
The Wald and Strauchlehrpfad was carefully constructed. You can see rare plants, shrubs and flowers along the side of the nature trail. The short trail runs through the landscape at the foot of the Kaunergrat, the ridge on the left side of the Kaunertal.
