Lilienfeld is located in one of the most forested areas of Austria. It is the center of the region, and is seen as the green lung of Lower Austria.

Mountain Sports
Around Lilienfeld there are several well-marked hiking trails, some of which run direction the beautiful meadows area around the 1,248 meter high Muckenkogel. Also accessible by chairlift.

Water Sports
The heated outdoor pool is ideal for families and children, and has a number of appealing features.

The wonderful botanical garden.
In the Abbey Park you can discover a botanical wonderland, in a unique natural garden from the 17th century, with giant trees. Of the former tower you also have a nice view over the city.
