The Donauschlinge is a jewel of nature, and known worldwide. The 3.5 kilometer long nature trail provides more information about the unique flora and fauna.

Around the village there are enormous possibilities for active outdoor sports, such as cycling along the Danube Cycle Path, or hiking on the romantic walkway along the Dagles stream and four old mills.

Worth seeing are the Mühlviertler Cathedral, the Dr.Kirchschläger Gedenkstein, the Präsidentenstuhl, the Donauschlinge and the Rudolf Kirchschläger Zentrum.
