A wonderful hiking area, also suitable for mountain bikers and other more challenging mountain sports.
Hiking trails can be found here for all levels, for example between the fruit orchards, where you can see the famous Stanzer Zwetschke, a sort of plum.
Water Sports
In Stanz, no water sports are offered, but the surrounding villages offer swimming pools, lakes, and opportunities for rafting.

Worth seeing are the Ruins Schrofenstein, the parish church, and at different distilleries you can see how the Schnapps is made, and of course taste it.
