Vättis is located in the beautiful Taminatal, and in the middle of a popular hiking area. A quiet region with lots of recreational opportunities in the valley, in the mountains and of the nearby Lake Walen.

Mountain Sports
The Calfeisental above the village is a nice walking area, with routes around the attractive dam reservoir with a 147 meter high dam wall

Water Sports
A region where even surfing is possible, on green-blue lakes set against a picturesque landscape. Also for fishing, the region has much to offer.

Recommendation
In the Drachenlochmuseum finds from the prehistoric are shown. The finds show clearly how the man once lived here.
