A lovely town, especially if you're like being in nature. The nature resort Eggstätt-Hernhofer-Seenplatte is with 1000 acres the largest in the district of Rosenheim, and also the oldest.

Mountain Sports
Mountaineering around one of the most beautiful lakes in Germany, with numerous hiking trails and challenging trails for mountain biking. A beautiful area for Nordic Walking.

Water Sports
The lake is the center within the region for water sports, the highlights are the Fraueninsel and Herreninsel, which is certainly worth exploring. With or without their own sailboat.

Recommendation
Sommerrodelbahn in Oberaudorf. The summer toboggan run at 1,100 meters altitude strangles like a real roller coaster from the middle station to the valley station.
