Hiking Routes
zur Fronebenalm
time: ± 1,5 hours
medium route
The starting-point is in the village Plöven (ca. 1080 meters). You follow the creek up and go over the bridge of the Halslbach and Schlickerbach. At the next intersection go left and a little further you reach the Fronebenalm (1306 meters). Back along the same route.
Schlicker Alm
time: ± 1 hours
easy route
The starting point is at middelstation Froneben (1350 meters). By road 114 you walk up to the Schlicker Alm. Return along the same route or you can go to the mountain station Kreuzjoch (2136 meters).
zur Galtalm
time: ± 1,5 hours
medium route
The starting point is at middelstation Froneben (1350 meters). Through the Forstweg (No. 2a) you walk up and after about 1 hours you reach the Galtalm. Return along the same route.
Zur Knappenhütte
time: ±2 hours and 15 minutes
medium route
The starting point is at mountain station Kreuzjochbahn (2136 meters). The route goes direction south-west. The route to the Knappenhütte runs to the valley (1830 meters).
zur Sennjochhütte
time: ± 1 hour and 15 minutes
medium route
The starting point is at mountain station Kreuzjochbahn (2136 meters). Follow Road No. 4 up to the Sennjoch. From here it's a little bit further to the Sennjochhütte (2225 meters). Return along the same route.
Schlicker Klettersteig
time: ± 7 hours
difficult route
From Fulpmes with the cable car to the Kreuzjoch. From here on the skislope to the Zirmachalm, continue to the end of the valley and out of the valley (road No. 114) up to the sign "Klettersteig". Left up here and in ca. 20 to 30 minutes to the entrance of the climb. Through the climb to the summit of the Großen Ochsenwand (± 2700 meters in 3 hours). From the top to the north to the northern summit and down along the climb in ca. 1.5 hours to the Alpenklunscharte. Here along climb No. 113 down through to the Schlicker Alm (1643 meters in ± 1 hours) and then along road No. 114 in ca. 30 minutes to middelstation Froneben. With the cable car back to Fulpmes.
