Samoens Ski Resort - Sixt is an ultimate ski destination whose corresponding Ski Resort is part of the large Le Grand Massif Ski Resort. This makes winter sports here, enjoying a total 266 km extremely well groomed slopes in all degrees of difficulty, and accessible with one ski pass.
Le Grand Massif is one of the largest ski resorts in France, with a total of five different ski resorts. It is without doubt one of the finest ski resorts, and the place where the famous French skier Antoine Aneriaz for years has trained.
Samoens has much more to offer than just extremely beautiful slopes. You can around the village enormously good snowshoeing, there are opportunities for skating and paragliding, but you can also take a ride on a sled pulled by real sled dogs.
It is a traditional village, and directly beneath the glacier arena Fer à Cheval, a beautiful mountain range.
